Edmund

Meet Edmund, an avid yoga practitioner and teacher whose yoga journey began while living in Poland in 2018. His deep passion for this ancient practice was ignited during that time, prompting him to explore various yoga styles and learn from different teachers. In 2019, Edmund embarked on a transformative teacher training journey in Vienna, where he delved into the subtle aspects of yoga and meditation, laying a solid foundation for his daily practice.

As the years passed, Edmund's yoga journey evolved. He felt a growing desire for a more physically demanding practice, leading him to discover Ashtanga yoga. This vigorous style of yoga generates internal heat in the body, facilitating detoxification, rejuvenation, and the development of physical strength and flexibility. In 2022, he furthered his expertise by undertaking an advanced training in Ashtanga yoga in Tenerife.

Edmund's dedication to yoga extends beyond Ashtanga. He maintains a well-rounded practice that includes other styles such as vinyasa and yin, along with regular pranayama (breathwork). His commitment to yoga is driven by a continuous quest to deepen his understanding of the multifaceted world of yoga.

As a yoga teacher, Edmund finds immense satisfaction in witnessing the positive transformations that yoga brings to his students. He believes in the power of yoga to enhance one's presence and the ability to embrace life fully. For Edmund, guiding others on their yoga journey and sharing in their growth is the most rewarding aspect of being a yoga teacher.

Morgan

Morgan discovered yoga in the early 2000’s whilst attending a Performing Arts High School in the USA. She developed a solid practice to help cope with anxiety and which kept her grounded and focused whilst trying to navigate the everyday challenges of high school alongside a career in theatre and dance.

Morgan’s yoga classes place an emphasis on the power of breath, they are playful and light-hearted with a focus on bringing yoga off the mat and into the community. She has a keen interest in yoga for those with limited mobility after a close family member lost their entire capacity to move in 2018. Her mission is to provide yoga classes for everyone from any population and believes the practice can provide consistency in our ever shifting daily lives.

She looks forward to meeting you in the studio soon!

Naomi

I found yoga whilst training for my first half marathon over 10 years ago.

A lover of flows and expansive practices, I most recently have focussed on applying my skills in delivering bespoke yoga, breath work, meditation and Nidra to support both everyday and professional athletes.

Yoga has brought such a new perspective to my life, to my training and to my own self awareness. It’s changed how I move through the world and given me such an anchor through life since I first discovered it. You’ll find me swimming, running, and practicing yoga most days, and I can’t wait to share the space with you at Flourish.

Liza

My name is Liza. My absolute passion in life is total wellness of body, mind and soul. Motivation and encouraging people to be the best version of themselves is what energises me.

After working in the beauty industry for 20 years, including many various Energy therapies (Reiki, Antaneea therapy, Metamorphosis and Access Bars), I continued my journey with people into the fitness industry.

Qualifying as a personal trainer, I found myself opening up many opportunities and became passionate about group fitness and the dynamic brought by everyone in a group setting. Expanding on that, I added Speed & Agility, Studio Cycle, Kettlebell fitness and Rebounding.

Qualifying with my 200 hour Yoga Vinyasa training in 2022, I use a lot of that knowledge and basis to all my fitness training and enjoy putting together what I call more of a Fitflow style.

As a member of Our Parks UK, I have a wonderful opportunity to coach outdoor fitness in the beautiful Bushy Park.

Barre has become one of my passions since moving to the UK, and the journey over the last year and a bit has been incredible. Of course, I add my own flair and style, so it is pretty fitness inspired.

I am excited to meet, coach and motivate anyone on a journey to wellness and fitness..

Abbi

Abbi was working in the events industry when she first discovered yoga. Finding it brought a huge sense of calm and contentment, yoga quickly became her sanctuary amongst the busyness, and she knew instantly that she wanted to share the benefits she’d experienced with others.

With a background in fitness, Abbi understands that each body is unique, recognising that what works for one person may not work for another. Through gentle guidance, she aims to create a safe space where students feel supported on their yoga journey. Abbi teaches a range of styles, blending mindful movement with a playful, lighthearted approach. She draws inspiration from the ancient philosophy of yoga, showing how its principles can be integrated into our modern lives, both on and off the mat.
Abbi invites her students to explore with kindness, cultivating a deep sense of self awareness and compassion along the way.

Lucy

Meet Lucy, an experienced and gifted yoga teacher. Lucy trained in 2016 under Bridget Woods Kramer and has taught vibrant, alignment focused, inclusive classes for more than 8 years. She is particularly passionate about trauma informed teaching. She incorporates elements of traditional Chinese medicine (meridians and acupressure) into classes as well as exploring all four wonderful corners of the mat!

Milly

With a background and degree in physical theatre, my love for physical expression followed a natural calling to the joy of yoga. I took my first yoga teacher training in 2023 and have been teaching ever since, continuing to further my own practice and learning. Expect a playful exploration of vinyasa and hatha forms of asana, woven together with pranayama, meditation techniques, and yogic philosophy.

In 2024 I decided to delve into Pilates, and am now a qualified teacher. I love the clarity and precision of Pilates, and the stability it affords my every day movements.

It’s my aim for all my students to leave class feeling refreshed, empowered, and harmonious, having found for themselves a moment of peaceful, focused presence

Neermal

Neermal has a light hearted and playful approach to teaching yoga and applying yogic philosophy into modern life.
His classes are challenging whilst remaining inclusive, creating an environment where students feel encouraged to be themselves.
Class Description Jivamukti Spiritual Warrior: (60mins)
This is a brisk, guided, led vinyasa class in which the teacher calls out the
asanas and provides the breath count. The class offers a well-rounded practice
as a set sequence that includes a warm-up, the setting of an elevated
intention, chanting, surya namaskar, standing asanas, twists, balances,
backward bending, forward bending and inversions, as well as meditation and
relaxation, and is designed to be completed in one hour. Because it is a fixed
sequence that is always the same, a student has the opportunity to progress to
the level of mastery by committing to a consistent, steady, regular practice.
